Rainer Kempe

Alan Schein is making the most of his second bullet. He was heads up with Rainer Kempe with the board reading 7c5d2hKh. Schein bet 9,000 and Kempe raised to 29,000 from the button.

Schein moved all in for 79,200 and Kempe tossed in a call.

Schein: Ks7s
Kempe: KcJs

Schein’s kings up were best against Kempe’s top pair and the 9d river sent a big double to Schein.

Kempe was left with only 3,500 and he put his chips in the middle on the next hand. Isaac Haxton called from the big blind with a “gamble”.

Haxton: Qd8c
Kempe: Kc9h

Kempe was ahead for the small double but Haxton hit the Qh7h2c flop. The board finished with the 2d turn and 5d river to send Kempe out.

That was the last hand before the break and they will return in 15 minutes after the quarter chips are taken out of play.

Alan Schein

As usual with an event of this size, the Super High Roller players take their time getting to the tables. We have some of them wandering the hallways waiting for bigger levels but three players took a seat at the beginning. Isaac Haxton, Ben Tollerene, and Alan Schein got the action underway and we had a big pot right off the bat.

On the first hand of the day, the board was already out and reading QdTs4dJs8c when Tollerene announced “all in” with 130,000 already in the pot. Schein had 35,550 in front and stood up, considered calling for his $50,000 entry.

He eventually shrug/called and turned over Qh8d for rivered queens up but Tollerene was best with his turned Broadway straight AcKd.

A shocking start to send Schein out, push Tollerene to a double starting stack, and the clock is paused while others join them. There are six entries showing on the board, just waiting for them to get here.
