2018 Lucky Hearts Poker Open Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida Event 17 $300 Turbo No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Entries: 114 Prize Pool: $30,000 January 21, 2018
Well that didn’t take long.
Frank Nerat has just outlasted a field of 114 entries in Event 17, collecting the trophy and the top prize of $8,850. It took less than seven hours for him to accomplish the victory.
Nerat is a 66-hear-old attorney from Lansing, Michigan. This result is the largest on his record, which includes just one previous tournament cash. Remarkably, he began the final table with the shortest stack, entering with less than three big blinds.
Final table results:
1st: Frank Nerat – $8,850 2nd: Sasidhar Bobba – $5,475 3rd: Donald Somers – $3,270 4th: Frank Bedoya – $2,100 5th: Yousef Nassr – $1,590 6th: Ory Hen – $1,320 7th: Esteban Garcia – $1,140 8th: Glenn Menne – $1,005 9th: Joseph Patalano – $885

We have two new tournaments on the Lucky Hearts Poker Open schedule and both of them will zip off with turbo formats while the Championship plays down in the ballroom.
Event 17 is a $300 buy-in tournament with a turbo structure and a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool. It is set up to start and finish on the same day so we will crown another LHPO trophy before the night is through.
Entrants start out with 10,000 stacks and play 15-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 11 at 2 pm. They will return and continue shrinking the field until only the Event 17 remains.
Cards fly at 11 am and we’ll keep one eye on them from across the hallway.
