The Ladies Event wasted no time taking care of its $10,000 Guarantee. There were more than 50 entries in the tournament after the first hour and they still have more than two hours to push it higher.

WPT Event Manager Keta Ozolina came to town ahead of the WPT Poker Showdown Championship next week and she was here to coordinate the Ladies Brunch this morning. She decided to support the tournament as well, not only is she playing but she looks like the current chip leader.

Seated next to her is three-time WSOP Circuit winner Nancy Birnbaum. She’s doing extra work today while she two-tables the Ladies Event and Flight E of Event 1.

Deborah Farmer took part in the Ladies Brunch today and grabbed her seat in the Ladies Event. Unfortunately for the SHR Tampa regular, her sevens ran into trip aces and she will need to refire if she wants the title.
