Event 1: Queens Good for Ben Lindemulder

Event 1: $350 Deep Stack ($150,000 Gtd, $1,650 Seat Added)
Level 27: 30,000/60,000/10,000
Players Remaining: 6/1,029

Jeff Charlton raised the small blind to 135,000. Ben Lindemulder was in the big blind and three-bet to 300,000. Charlton called and the big stacks at the table were in a heads-up pot.

Flop: 9c8s3s

Charlton checked and Lindemulder bet 200,000. Charlton called.

Turn: 9c8s3sAs

Both players checked.

River: 9c8s3sAs3d

Charlton checked a third time. Lindemulder bet 400,000 and Charlton quickly called. Lindemulder flipped over QsQh and Charlton mucked.

Ben Lindemulder – 11,250,000
Jeff Charlton – 6,100,000

Event 1: Fernando Halac Eliminated in 7th Place ($11,320)

Event 1: $350 Deep Stack ($150,000 Gtd, $1,650 Seat Added)
Level 27: 30,000/60,000/10,000
Players Remaining: 6/1,029

Fernando Halac

Fernando Halac was in the small blind and shoved about 450,000 with Qc8s. Chip leader Ben Lindemulder was in the big blind holding Ac8d and put Halac at risk.

Runout: Ad4h2dAs7c

Halac was second best and hit the rail seventh.

Ben Lindemulder – 10,275,000
Fernando Halac – Eliminated in 7th place ($11,320)

Event 1: Chas Samuel Gets One Through

Event 1: $350 Deep Stack ($150,000 Gtd, $1,650 Seat Added)
Level 27: 30,000/60,000/10,000
Players Remaining: 7/1,029

Fernando Halac limped from middle position and Matthew Kuba followed suit from the small blind. It was on Chas Samuel in the big blind and he raised. Halac called while Kuba got out of the way.

Flop: Th5h3d

Chas Samuel shoves the flop

Samuel open-shoved about 2,175,000. Halac folded and Samuel took the pot.

Chas Samuel – 2,600,000
Fernando Halac – 995,000

Event 1: Sergio Perez Eliminated in 8th Place ($8,744); Ory Hen Eliminated in 9th Place ($6,167)

Event 1: $350 Deep Stack ($150,000 Gtd, $1,650 Seat Added)
Level 26: 25,000/50,000/5,000
Players Remaining: 7/1,029

There was five-way action on a KcQcJs board. Fernando Halac was out of position and open-shoved about 2,800,000. Ory Hen was next to act and called off roughly 1,900,000. Ben Lindemulder was next up and called off about 2,400,000. Matthew Kuba had other plans as he folded and got out of the way. It was on Sergio Perez who completed the unlikely four-way all-in by calling off about 2,650,000.

The total amount of time passed from Halac’s flop shove to Perez calling off and putting four players all in was only about five seconds. The stable stood stunned.

Lindemulder: AhTc for Broadway (the nuts)
Hen: KdJc for kings up
Halac: QdJd for queens up
Perez: Ac3c for the nut flush draw

Halac had all players covered while Hen was only drawing for the main pot.

Turn: KcQcJs6d
River: KcQcJs6d3s

In the blink of an eye, the hand was done. Broadway held for Lindemulder and he scooped the main pot along with the first side pot. Halac, meanwhile, took the other side pot off Perez.

When the dust settled, Hen busted ninth and Perez eighth. Lindemulder raked a monster and took a massive chip lead. Halac was left with under 1,000,000.

Sergio Perez
Ory Hen

Ben Lindemulder – 10,250,000 (of 30,870,000 in play)
Fernando Halac – 835,000

Edward McNamara (right) pictured during yesterday’s play

Edward McNamara peeked down at TsTd and got about 20 big blinds in against chip leader Jeff Charlton’s KsQh. It was a race as the dealer burned and turned a Qc8s8c flop. Charlton paired up his queen and was best in the hand.

The turn and river didn’t change a thing as they fell blanks — the 5c and 3h — and McNamara was eliminated in 10th place.

Jeff Charlton – 5,950,000
Edward McNamara – Eliminated in 10th place ($4,197)
