David Saffron (left) versus Elio Fox (right)

We added Giuseppe Iadisernia to the field to get us up to six but the action is slow, as to be expected at this point. We had our first bigger hand in a near family pot.

Darren Elias opened to 2,500 from under the gun and everyone called except Seth Davies in the big blind. The flop came KcTh9c and there were checks from Rainer Kempe, Elias, and Iadisernia before David Saffron bet 2,500. Elio Fox raised to 12,000 from the button and it folded back to Saffron.

He called, the turn was 3c, and both players checked. Saffron checked again after the 9d river, Fox announced 32,000 and Saffron folded as Fox pushed the chips out.

Elio Fox – 180,500 (181 bb)
David Saffron – 98,000 (98 bb)
