Level 25: 15,000/30,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 7 of 529

Jeffrey Chang raised to 65,000 from under the gun and Nicholas Immekus defended his big blind.

The flop was As7d6d and Immekus checked. Chang bet 65,000 and Immekus called.

The rest of the hand was checked down as the board was completed with the 4s and the 5h. Immekus showed Kx6x, good for a pair of sixes, but Chang dragged the pot with QdJd.

Jeffrey Chang – 750,000 (25 bb)
Nicholas Immekus – 600,000 (20 bb)

Event 23: The Dark Does it For Dan Heimiller

Players Remaining: 7 of 529

Nicholas Immekus opened the button for 65,000 and Dan Heimiller three-bet to 130,000 from the big blind. Immekus called and Heimiller promptly bet 150,000 in the dark.

The flop fell KcKdQc and action was on Immekus. He folded and Heimiller earned the pot — but not before flashing a queen.

Event 23: James Gilbert Eliminated in 8th Place ($30,800)

$2,650 No Limit Hold’em (Freeze-Out)
Level 25: 15,000/30,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 7 of 529

James Gilbert moved all in from the hijack for 375,000 and Dan Heimiller called on the button.

Gilbert showed 9s9d and was in bad shape against Heimiller’s TcTh.

The board ran out AhJh8s8cAc and Gilbert hit the rail in ninths place. Gilbert took home $30,800 for his efforts, while Heimiller chipped up.

Dan Heimiller – 1,500,000 (50 bb)
James Gilbert – Eliminated

Event 23: James Gilbert Doubles through Koray Aldemir

Aldemir: KhJd

Runout: Qh8h5sAs4d

Gilbert’s sevens held and he earned the full double.

James Gilbert – 395,000 (13 bb)
Koray Aldemir – 1,450,000 (48 bb)

Event 23: Jerry Wong Eliminated in 9th Place ($25,575)

Jerry Wong

Bradley Snider raised to 65,000 from middle position and Jerry Wong three-bet to 155,000 on his direct left. Action folded back to Snider, who took a minute before four-betting to 340,000.

Wong moved all in for about 1,250,000 and Snider snap-called. It was a cooler situation for Wong with his KsKd up against Snider’s AsAc.

The board ran out Th7c5dTsQd and Snider’s rockets held up to eliminate to 2016 November Niner. Snider extended his chip lead over the field and Wong was eliminated in ninth place. He took home $25,575 for his deep run.

Bradley Snider – 4,250,000 (141 bb)
Jerry Wong – Eliminated

Event 23: Aldemir Doubles through Gilbert

$2,650 No Limit Hold’em (Freeze-Out)
Level 25: 15,000/30,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 9 of 529

Koray Aldemir raised to 65,000 from late position and Alex Wilson called from his direct left. It folded to James Gilbert in the big blind and he defended. The trio saw a flop of Qc4s4d. Gilbert checked sending it back to Aldemir. He C-bet for 80,000 causing a fold out of Wilson. It was back to Gilbert and he called.

The turn was the 8c. Gilbert check a second time and Aldemir bet a second time — 140,000. Gilbert called and the dealer peeled the Jh river.

Gilbert checked once again and Aldemir shoved. Gilbert, who had Aldemir covered, quickly called. Aldemir flipped over KcKd for kings and fours. He was best against the Qh8d — queen and eights — of Gilbert. Aldemir doubled to 960,000.

Koray Aldemir – 960,000 (32 bb)
James Gilbert – 290,000 (9 bb)
