The $25K High Roller event drew a huge crowd yesterday with nearly 100 entries to easily surpass the numbers we saw for this event in August. That meant there was a lot of play and the field didn’t reach the money with 13 players remaining until 5:30am when Florida #1 Jason Mercier went out on the stone-cold bubble in the wee hours of the morning.
Because of the late stoppage of play, those 13 players are returning at 4pm instead of the regularly scheduled 2pm restart. Brian Benderoff has the lead when they return but there is plenty of skill left in the game with big names from top to bottom.
They are slowing making their way to the meeting room and cards will fly shortly.
