Registration closed for the $1,100 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em one-day tournament with a huge turnout. The 475 entries more than quadrupled the $100,000 guaranteed and nearly quintupled it.

They combined to create a huge prize pool worth $460,750 with the last 60 spots being paid. They will receive $1,670 for a min-cash and the Event 30 champ will earn $91,835 plus the Showdown trophy.

It didn’t take very long for Event 30 to fly over the $100,000 guarantee, less than a level and they are building the prize pool with 116 entries in the game so far.

A lot of new players are making their way to South Florida with some High Rollers and the Championship playing out over the last week of the series.

Today’s schedule features a couple of big buy-in tournaments and a lot of Championship satellites. The Grand Ballroom will be busy today.

We are kicking off today’s primary event schedule with a $1,100 buy-in Deep Stack tournament that has a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. Event 30 starts at noon and will feature a lot of players just getting into town for the Championship.

They’ll start with 20,000 deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm.

Action will continue into the evening and come to an end when we have our next Showdown trophy winner.
