Like preceding flights, players in the Flight C installment begin with 50,000 chips and log 40-minute levels throughout the day. Michael Newman tops the field following the first break in the $1,650 Deepest Stack tournament. With a stack of roughly 98,500, Newman has nearly doubled the 50,000 he held to start.

One of the tournament’s most recent entries is Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Sheddy Siddiqui. Siddiqui holds a fresh 50,000 and hopes to join the likes of fellow team members Mukul Pahuja and Loni Harwood — who bagged Flight A — on Sunday’s Day 2.
