There will be a lot going on in the ballroom today with Main Event Mega Satellites going for as long as the room is open. But those aren’t the only game in town today. Event 4 of the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open kicks off at noon for our friends who like their poker with four hole cards.

It is a $350 Pot Limit Omaha tournament and a semi-short format. Tables will be configured for eight-handed action and we expect a nice crowd of our PLO gamers in the ballroom.

Everyone will sit down to 10,000 stacks at the start and play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration is open until 4:30pm and players can re-enter during that time if they bust their stack. This is a one-day event and we will crown our next champion before the end of the night.

The heads up match began with Chris De Guzman holding a tiny lead but Raminder Singh didn’t take long to get it back. They also didn’t wait long to mix it up in a big hand to finish Event 4 off in the early morning hours.

De Guzman shoved with Ac7s and Singh quickly called with AhKh to get a few unhappy expletives from De Guzman.

Singh never had a sweat as the the final spread was 6s6c2c9sAd to give him the hand and the trophy. He earned $11,440 for his efforts while De Guzman had to settle for $6,270 runner-up money.

Event 4: Scott Zakheim – 3rd Place ($3,610)

$350 Black Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 27: 20,000/40,000/5,000 ante

Scott Zakheim (Davie, FL)
Scott Zakheim (Davie, FL)

Scott Zakheim lost most of his stack when he doubled up Chris De Guzman, just like Ryan Dunn before him. De Guzman’s Ad7d won against KhQh to leave Zakheim with less than 200,000.

Those went in the middle on the next hand and it was De Guzman trying for another bounty. This time he had a dominating hand with AcTc against Td3c but Zakheim added an gutshot draw on the 6d5c2s flop. That was as close as he got to staying alive when the dealer put out the 7s turn and Jd river.

Zakheim is a regular in our tournament but had to settle for 3rd place money.

Heads up between De Guzman and Raminder Singh began with the two in a near dead heat.
