Event 4: Josh Milrad Eliminated

$1,650 Deepest Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 24: 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 ante
Players Remaining: 11 of 349

Josh Milrad

It took five bets to create a massive pot when Joshua Zur four-bet to 650,000 and Josh Milrad moved all in for approximately 2,000,000. Zur quickly called to create the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Zur: AdAh
Milrad: KsKc

It was a cooler for Milrad but the drama wasn’t done there. The dealer put a king in the window but followed it with an ace on the AsKd9d flop. There were exclamations all around and set-over-set aces over kings sent the pot to Zur. They counted down his stack and his 1,915,000 pulled a full double.

Milrad was down to scraps and lost the next hand for the tough exit.

Joshua Zur – 3,830,000 (96 bb)
Josh Milrad – Eliminated in 12th place ($9,371)

Event 4: Mike Steinbacher Eliminated by Joshua Zur

Mike Steinbacher

Joshua Zur opened to 105,000 from the button and Mike Steinbacher moved all in from the big blind for 320,000. Zur called with a chance for back-to-back knockouts.

Steinbacher: QhJc
Zur: Ah6c

Steinbacher was live but blanked the 9h4c3s2sKh board to go out on the heels of Victor Figueroa.

Joshua Zur – 2,050,000 (51 bb)
Mike Steinbacher – Eliminated in 13th place ($7,957)

Event 4: Victor Figueroa Eliminated by Joshua Zur

$1,650 Deepest Stack NLH (Re-Entry)

Players Remaining: 13 of 349

Victor Figueroa

Victor Figueroa doubled through Steven Duncker before the break and Duncker returned the favor after. Figueroa was down to 555,000 and moved all in after it folded to him in the small blind. Joshua Zur took his time to think about it and called.

Figueroa: Ah9d
Zur: 7s7d

They were racing but Figueroa could not catch up as the board came 8c6d2h9s7s to send the former RRPO champ out in 14th place.

Joshua Zur – 1,670,000 (42 bb)
Victor Figueroa – Eliminated in 14th place ($7,957)

Action folded to Loni Harwood in the small blind and she moved all in on Chris Bolek in the big. He called off for his last 485,000 and needed help.

Harwood: Ah4d
Bolek: KcJd

It was Harwood improving on the As9c6h flop and Bolek began packing up. The Ks turn gave him pause and he sat back down after the Jh shipped him the double.

Chris Bolek – 990,000 (25 bb)
Loni Harwood – 2,100,000 (53 bb)

Victor Figueroa

Steve Duncker opened to 110,000 from early position and it folded to Victor Figueroa in the big blind. He though for a moment before putting his stack in the middle. Duncker didn’t think and quickly called.

Duncker: AdKc
Figueroa: AhAs

Figueroa picked up the big blind aces and they held for the double, though he had a bit of fade on the river, when the board ran 5h4h4dKs7s.

Victor Figueroa – 1,200,000 (40 bb)
Joshua Zur – 1,160,000 (39 bb)

Players Remaining: 14 of 349

While we were catching up on some business in the turbo, we kept one eye on the Main Event but there was little action.

Other than shoves by Victor Figueroa and Joshua Zur, which were not called, not many chips changed hands in the last 30 minutes.

Event 4: Mike Steinbacher Doubles; Jose Reyes Eliminated

$1,650 Deepest Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 23: 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 ante
Players Remaining: 14 of 349

Jose Reyes

Players returned from break and picked up right where they left off. RRPO champ Michael Newman was not in his seat long enough to reheat it before he busted in 16th then two more big hands went down.

On Table 33, Mike Steinbacher was all in for 415,000 and Ryan Gianquitti had him in trouble.

Steinbacher: Ah7h
Gianguitti: KhKd

Steinbacher had a single over card and it hit on the AsJhTh flop along with a flush draw to improve. The 9d turn and 5s river were good enough to earn him the double.

At the same time on Table 28, Event 1 champ Jose Reyes was all in with AsAs against David Nowling’s AhQh. Two hearts hit the flop followed by one of the river to crack Reyes’ aces and send him out.
