Event 40 of the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was the $1,700 Purple Chip Bounty NLH (Single Re-Entry). The event drew 227 entries, generating a prize pool of $227,000 with an additional $113,500 set aside for bounties.

Taking it down was Eugene Kotlyarevskiy, winning outright for $54,155.

This marks Kotlyarevskiy’s second SHRP major series trophy win, having previously won a $1,100 Six-Max PLO 8 at the 2022 Lucky Hearts for $26,000. This was also only Kotlyarevskiy’s second event of the Showdown series, having only played Event 24 before this one, where he finished runner-up for $12,800.
