Marsha Wolak went on break with just over 8,000 in her stack but doubled that in a hurry. She was all-in versus fellow short stack Shawn Sorgi looking at a probably chop. Wolak tabled AhJh which was a micro-favorite against AcJs.

Wolak picked up a backdoor flush draw on the flop and then went running hearts to jump to 17,000.

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 6: 200/400/50 ante

The steady stream of players into the tournament continues as they head off on their first break. So far there has been 225 getting in the game and we now have two WSOP champions sitting together when Marsha Wolak grabbed the 8-seat next to “Miami John” Cernuto.

TJ Shulman looks like the current chipleader as he’s built his start from the initial 12,000 to over 100,000 before the break.

We are gathering the chip counts and will return shortly.

Event 5: Moving Fast

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 3: 75/150

The small buy-in tournament is pulling in a nice early crowd with the entrant number climbing over 150 before the noon hour. The price is also putting players in a gambling mood with plenty of speculative hands getting action. Dealers are calling “seat open” on a regular basis and there is always someone in line at the registration desk.

“Miami John” Cernuto and Errol Massey were early players and we’re combing the field for more Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open regulars.
