Jonathan Gordon
Jonathan Gordon, the unknown chipleader from the last break, has returned to his seat.

Remember the unknown chipleader from the last break? He had the chip lead, but didn’t return from break for quite a while. He eventually returned, and we found out he is Jonathan Gordon, a regular at the Coconut Creek poker room. He had some phone calls to make and since he had “walking around” chips, he decided to take a break.

Gordon still has a big stack, but he’s no longer chipleader, as Nigel Murray and Daniel Rambally have both surpassed him at Table 11.

Nigel Murray  –  370,000  (123 bb)
Daniel Rambally  –  365,000  (122 bb)
Jonathan Gordon  –  335,000  (112 bb)

Back at Gordon’s table, Michael Tait was in a position to finish the day with about 150K when the player on the button moved all in for about 67,000, and Tait called from the big blind with AhQs. The button turned over Qh10h, and was dominated and facing elimination with about 20 minutes left in the day.

But the board came 6s4h2s5h8h, and the button rivered a heart flush to win the pot and knock Tait down to 11,500.

Michael Tait  –  11,500  (4 bb)

The next hand, Tait got it all in from the small blind with KdJd against the Ks9d of Juan Endara in the hijack.

The board came Jc6d5h4h7h, and Tait paired his jack on the flop to win this smaller pot and double up in chips.

Michael Tait  –  27,500  (9 bb)

Juan Endara
Juan Endara

Juan Endara lost that pot, but a hand or two later a player was all in from middle position with AsAd, and Endara had him covered with KdJc from UTG+1.

The board came 7c6c4cQd10c, and Endara rivered a club flush to crack the pocket aces and eliminate his opponent from Flight E.

Juan Endara  –  75,000  (25 bb)

This flight is about to bag up for the night, so stay tuned for chipleaders, followed by official chip counts.
