The clock strikes the 11 o’clock hour in South Florida and poker action is underway at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Going now is Flight A of the property’s unique Escalator Series headliner, a $560 buy-in no limit hold’em tournament. This marks the last of four month-long events and boasts the biggest of the guarantees — $400,000.

Each of the first three tournaments saw fields in excess of 1,400 entries and another 1,000+ are expected over the course of the next few days. While cards are freshly in the air for Flight A, Flight B is still to come tonight at 7pm followed Flight C, D, E and F set for 11am and 7pm Friday and Saturday.

Flight A details:

11am: Flight A – $560 Buy-In, $400,000 Guaranteed

• 20,000 chips and 30-/40-minute levels
• Registration and re-entry available until the start of Level 9 (about 3:30pm)
• Play concludes following Level 14 (6:40pm) or 10 percent of the field
• Day 2 begins Sunday, March 18th at 1pm

This series last ran in 2016 and this same event drew 1,081 entries generating a total prize pool of better than $540,000. Claiming the top spot along with $88,506 and a $3,500 seat was Richard Whitebrook whose crowning came following a three-way chop.
