A late surge, either in new entries or re-entries, has pushed the number or registrations up to 244 – this is more than we had last night and brings our total number of entries thus far to 846. With still two more days of flights left to be played, the guarantee should be easily met and the prize pool will make finishing in the money well worth it.
There are currently 153 players still left, meaning we lost 91 players in the first two hours.

The board read . The player in seat 7 led out for a bet. Seat 9 moved all in for about 5K. A young lady in seat 2 called. Seat 7 moved all in. Seat 2 insta-called. Three all in’s in a matter of ten seconds. The action was fast… furious. The hands:
Seat 9: – nut flush
Seat 2: – turned full house
Seat 7: – flopped full house and the winning hand
“What a bad turn card,” Seat 2 said. “Well, at least I can rebuy,” she added as she headed down to the cashier to give it another go.
There is 10 minutes left in Level 4 – registration will close soon. There are 221 registered entries thus far. That’s slightly less than the 239 we had last night but there is still time to go.

Deep stack poker usually means avoiding big pots and races. Apparently no one has told the players here at Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open” that as we’ve seen numerous players already tossing 200 big blinds into the middle as if it were nothing.
Case in point:
A player moves all in on a board. It’s a huge overbet of about 8K into a 2K pot. His opponent calls him… with … only top pair with a gutshot straight draw. He’s drawing dead, of course, as his opponent has the monster eight high flush with .
A few moments later, the same player who had the eight high flush felts another player who decided to stick in his entire stack in with just top pair. This time, the big stack has a set and he’s tripled his starting stack as the result of the loose play of his opponents.
We are up to 171 players registered for this flight with Level 3 about to start in less than 5 minutes. With all the early bust outs though there probably are only 150 playing currently.
