Jeremy Joseph went from big stack to no stack in two hands after the break. The first saw him open to 20,000 from the button and he called 59,000 from Colin Robinson to the 8c7c3d flop.

Robinson fired 65,000 to get a call before the Qs turn. It was another 115,000 from Robinson and another call from Joseph.

Robinson bet again after the Jh river, this time for 230,000, and Joseph took his time to think about it then stacked up calling chips to put them in the middle leaving only 24,000 behind. Robinson tossed up his unimproved AsTd and seemed shocked that Joseph didn’t quickly table a hand.

Instead, Joseph mucked to ace-high.

It was a huge pot and Joseph’s chips were in the middle on the next hand. He lost 9s5d to the AdQd of Toby Boas to go out in 3rd place.

Colin Robinson – 110,000 (14 bb)
Toby Boas – 360,000 (45 bb)
Jeremy Joseph – Eliminated in 3rd ($12,000)

Kenneth Watson opened to 19,000 from the button and Colin Robinson asked how much he was playing. It was around 80K behind at the moment.

Robinson raised to 45,000 and Toby Boas quickly got out of the way in the big blind. Watson announced all-in and Robinson said “why not, I call”.

Robinson: 7c7d
Watson: Ad9d

It was a race until Robinson hit the Tc9h7h flop. The 2h turn left Watson drawing dead and he was eliminated in 4th place.

Colin Robinson – 625,000 (104 bb)
Kenneth Watson – Eliminated in 4th place ($9,600)

Toby Boas opened to 12,000 and Joseph Drory moved all-in for his last 41,000. Jeremy Joseph called next to act and Boas shoved over the top for 304,000.

Joseph considered before he finally folded his hand to start the race.

Drory: AdTh
Boas: 9s9h

Drory was pleading with the dealer but found no help as the board ran QhQs8dJc4d to send him out in 5th place.

Toby Boas – 280,000 (47 bb)
Joseph Drory – Eliminated in 5th place ($7,200)

Former chip leader Tom Middleton was down to 100,000 and called a 13,000 open from Colin Robinson to see the Jh6h3s flop. Robinson bet out and Middleton immediately announced all-in.

Just as quickly, Robinson called.

Robinson: QhJc
Middleton: Js9d

Middleton was in trouble and couldn’t come back as the board finished 4c2s to send him out earlier than he anticipated at the start of the day.

Colin Robinson – 370,000 (62 bb)
Tom Middleton – Eliminated in 6th place ($6,000)

Jeremy Joseph opened the action to 13,000 and picked up a call from Colin Robinson on the button and Toby Boas in the small blind. Tom Middleton made it 50,000 from the big blind and Joseph put in a fourth bet for 105,000. Robinson and Boas quickly folded before Middleton asked how much Joseph had at the beginning of the hand.

After he got the answer, Middleton announced all-in and was quickly called by Joseph.

Joseph: AsAd
Middleton: JcJs

Joseph was ahead for the huge pot and stayed that way as the dealer spread Qs9c6sKs4d. The hand moved Joseph well above the rest of the table.

Jeremy Joseph – 760,000 (152 bb)
Tom Middleton – 108,000 (22 bb)

Joseph Marzilli was down to only 17,500 and put those in the middle with an early open. Tom Middelton raised it to 35,000 from the small blind and Joseph Drory folded his big blind after a little thought.

Middleton: Jc2s
Marzilli: 6s6d

“Thanks,” Marzilli told Middleton. “For now.”

His pair didn’t hold up long, not making it past the JsTcTh flop. The 8d turn and 4c river were no good for Marzilli to send him out in 7th place.

Tom Middleton – 330,000 (66 bb)
Joseph Marzilli – Eliminated in 7th place ($4,800)

Event 12: Nicholas Immekus Eliminated in 8th ($3,600)

A few hands after Gimbel was sent out, Jeremy Joseph mixed it up again. This time he got all-in against Nicholas Immekus and was in trouble with AhKs against the AsAc of Immekus.

Joseph picked up some outs on the Kd5h3c flop, blanked the Qd turn, then got a reaction from the rest of the table when the river came Kh.

They gave the stacks a look and Joseph had Immekus covered by a bit to send him out in 8th place.

Jeremy Joseph – 330,000 (66 bb)
Nicholas Immekus – Eliminated in 8th place ($3,600)
