The field was stuck on 42 players for a little while and a break was approaching. However, in the final minute of Level 15, there were three eliminations that sent the remaining 39 players onward to Day 2.

The first started with Rick Aronson limping in from middle position. The player in the cutoff raised all in for about 40,000 and Aronson called with , leading his opponent’s .
