After being down to less than two big blinds, Zo Karim ran his stack back up to more than 33,000 before winding up all in for 32,800 with AsKs against one opponent’s Ad10c and another’sAcQs.

However, Karim’s hand went from first to worst as the board came down Qd3d2h10s3h, ending his Flight B in the final level of the night.

The player in the cutoff raised to 3,500, SHRP Team member Mukul Pahuja called from the button, and the player in the big blind called.

The flop fell 5h4c3s and action checked around to Pahuja who bet 5,500. The player in the big blind check-raised all in for about 65,000, the cutoff folded, and Pahuja called with 7s6s for the nut straight, leading his opponent’s 2h2d.

The turn was the 5d, giving Pahuja’s opponent a few outs to survive. However, the river was the 7c, safe for Pahuja to score the elimination.

The flop fell Qh7s2s and Vo checked to Calderaro who continued for 2,000. The player in the cutoff called and Vo folded.

The turn was the 4h and Calderaro bet 4,000. His opponent called.

The river was the 10d and Calderaro went all in for 12,925. His opponent tanked for about 90 seconds before he called.

Calderaro showed 8h7c for a pair of sevens, but his opponent tabled QcJs for a pair of queens to win the pot and eliminate Calderaro.

The players are in the midst of a 15-minute break, and when play resumes registration will be closed.

Event 9 Flight B: Victor Figueroa Takes from Frankie Flowers

All six players checked to the turn of a Js4h2h5c board where Figueroa bet 5,400. The under-the-gun player folded, Flowers called, Horowitz and Riddick folded, and the player in the small blind called.

The river was the Jd and the small blind checked to Figueroa who bet 7,800. Only Flowers called.

Figueroa tabled Jc10d for trip jacks with a ten kicker, Flowers mucked, and Figueroa collected the pot.

After a lengthy money bubble, the remaining 19 players are in the money following two separate eliminations.

At one table, Kiaran McLaughin was all in for about 15,000 with 9h9d against Mark Manesh’s JhJc. The board ran out Ah5c5s3d8h, no help to McLaughlin, locking up the pot for Manesh.

At one of the other tables, with the board reading AhQd9c4c, Jeff Kessler got his stack of roughly 47,000 into the middle with Ad4d for two pair against an opponent (who refused to be identified for now) with 9h9s for a set of nines. The river was the 8c, no help to Kessler, securing the pot for his opponent.

McLaughlin and Kessler split the $571 for 20th and 21st place.
