Guillermo Reyes Holds the Overall Chip Lead After Day 1C of Event #1 of Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open

The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida resumed on Friday with Days 1B and 1C. With 622 entries on Day 1B and 555 entries on Day 1C (to go along with the 621 entries on Day 1A), the field size is currently at 1,808 entries. Only 370 of them have punched their tickets to Day 2, which is to be played on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Leading the 112 Day 1C survivors is Guillermo Reyes with 437,500, giving him the overall chip lead. He is joined at the top of the leader board by Day 1A chip leader Mark Spies (427,000), Miguel Caputo (370,800), and Day 1B chip leader Christopher Amian (332,700). Also surviving the day were Josh Hillock (290,500), Steve Karp (153,900), Corey Burbick (148,500), Abbey Daniels (133,100), Darryll Fish (105,800), Ebony Kenney (102,100), and Sheddy Siddiqui (75,500). Among those who failed to survive the Day 1B and 1C flights were Fred Goldberg, Adam Levy, Dan Buzgon, Cord Garcia, and Alex Bolotin. With the option to re-enter, chances are they will give it another go on Saturday.

Here are the remaining flights for Event #1:

Day 1D: Saturday, August 10 – 11 a.m.
Day 1E: Saturday, August 10 – 7 p.m.

All remaining survivors also have the option to re-enter and attempt to build a larger stack. Players who survive multiple Day 1’s will play their biggest stack on Day 2.
