Championship Day 3: Alberto Rodriguez Rides Off into the Sunset

Jared Jaffee raised to 60,000 preflop UTG+1 and Sanjay Gehi called on the button. Alberto Rodriguez then reraised all in for 190,000 on the big blind. Both Jaffee and Gehi called and the board was dealt Jh4c2c4h before Jaffee bet 225,000.

Gehi called so they continued to the Qc on the river. Jaffee announced all in and Gehi folded. Rodriguez then revealed Ac5d but Jaffee held Ad4d. Jaffee won the pot to grow his stack to 2.39 million and Rodriguez was out in 21st place, good for $14,789.

Anthony Zinno was all in preflop under the gun and Dean Baranowski called from middle position. The two players then tabled their hands.

Zinno was eliminated on the hand in 23rd place, good for $14,789. Baranowski stacked up 1.35 million after the hand.

There were two double ups just before the dinner break and so we have 23 players going to dinner break.

Jon Graham was all in preflop for 255,000 with 6s6d and Nathan Tuthill had him covered holding 10d10h on a board dealt Ac9h6hJh3d. Graham doubled up to survive thanks to a set of sixes.

Sergii Baranov was all in with pocket kings and Dean Baranowski called all in against him with Ac4c. The board fell Kc10c5c6s4h and Baranowski doubled up to survive as well.

Bruce Kramer raised to 60,000 preflop from middle position and Brian Altman called from late position. Anthony Zinno also called on the hijack and then Fernando Diaz reraised all in for 310,000 on the cutoff. Kramer and folded and Altman moved all in for more than 2.7 million. Zinno folded and the remaining two players revealed their hands.

Diaz was eliminated in 27th place, good for $14,789. Altman stacked up over 3 million after the hand and he leads the field.
