There was about 600,000 in the pot on the river with a completed board of Qd7s5c2hAh and Jordan Redavid moved all in out of the big blind for 500,000, which sent Julio Marines into the tank on the button.

“Do you want a call?” asked Marines.

“Yeah,” said Redavid.

“You sound convincing,” said Marines.

“I’m a lawyer,” said Redavid.

Marines mulled over his decision and wondered aloud why Redavid would shove the river. Eventually, Marines tossed a chip into the pot.

“Two pair,” said Redavid.

Redavid showed Ad2d and doubled up against Marines’ Kc7c.

On a flop of 5s4c2d, Jordan Redavid checked from the big blind and Julio Marines bet 100,000 on the button. Redavid check-raised to about 275,000 and Marines moved all in for about 1,200,000.

Redavid thought for a couple minutes and then folded. Marines mucked his hand and took the chip lead.

Jordan Redavid raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Julio Marines called on the button. Gui Socarras moved all in out of the small blind for about 700,000 and was called by Redavid.

Redavid showed QsQd and was in the lead against Socarras’ Kd9c.

The flop was KhTh6d, which gave Socarras the lead with a pair of kings. The turn was the Qc, however, which moved Redavid back into the lead with a set, but Socarras could hit a jack on the river to make a straight.

The river was the 5c and Redavid won the pot to eliminate Socarras in fourth for $16,650 and Redavid holds about two-thirds of the chips in play with three players remaining.

MacDonnell thought for about a minute before moving all in for about 570,000. Redavid snap-called with MacDonnell covered.

Redavid showed AcAh and was in great shape against MacDonnell’s KhTd.

The flop was Ts9s2h, giving MacDonnell some equity with top pair. The turn was the Qs, which gave MacDonnell some more outs with a straight draw, but the 3s on the river sent the pot to Redavid.

MacDonnell was out in sixth place and earned $8,875 and Redavid moved over the million chip mark.
