On a flop of 9h3d2d, Dale Phillips checked from the small blind and Jacobo Fernandez checked from the big blind. Mike Soroka bet from the cutoff and Phillips called, all in for 10,000. Fernandez called as well.

The turn was the 8h and Fernandez checked. Soroka bet and Fernandez folded.

Soroka showed Ad6c4c3h, good for the nut low and a pair of threes. Phillips tabled AcKh6s5h, for a worse low and a straight draw. The river didn’t change anything and Soroka scooped both halves of the pot with the nut low and a pair.

Phillips hit the rail in ninth place, for $851 and the final eight players were all credited with making the final table.

Pete Walsworth raised from the hijack and Chris Hannon three-bet on the button. Walsworth four-bet and Hannon capped it, leaving himself with just 6,000 behind.

The flop was Ac9c7d and they got the last of the chips into the middle.

Hannon showed AhAsJd5h and was in great shape against Walsworth’s Ad2s2dKs.

The turn was the 5c and the river was the Kc. Hannon doubled up at the expense of the chip leader.

Pete Walsworth won the $360 Omaha hi-lo event last night to take home the first trophy of the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open and he’s back at it again today.

With 13 players remaining in the $360 HORSE, Walsworth is leading the way again with 140,000. With the top 11 spots finishing in the money, they are one elimination from hand-for-hand play.

A min-cash is worth $738 and the eventual winner will walk away with $8,314. Walsworth earned $8,300 in a heads-up chop with Phil Hui in yesterday’s event.

The flop was QsQhJh and Levy checked. Coelho bet 2,000, middle position called and Levy called as well. The turn was the Jd and Levy checked.

Coelho bet 2,000, middle position folded and Levy moved all in for about 12,000. Coelho quickly called.

Coelho showed AdQd, giving him top full house, and was in good shape against Levy’s Jc7s.

The river was the 2h and Coelho faded the one-outer. He scooped the pot and, at least temporarily, eliminated Levy.

On a flop of 9h5d4c with about 3,000 in the pot, Mark Dube checked from the small blind and the player in the big blind checked as well.

A player in middle position bet 3,100 and Dube called. The big blind check-raised to 8,000 and middle position moved all in for about 40,000. Dube moved all in for about 30,000 and the big blind folded Ax9x face-up, leaving Dube all in against one other player.

Dube showed 5c4d, giving him bottom two pair, and was in the lead against middle position’s JdJh.

The turn was the 3h and the river was the Kh. Dube’s two pair held up and he more than doubled up early in the level.

With just a couple minutes remaining in the second level of the fourth flight, there are already 255 entries in the field, which brings the overall field size to 1,470 with six levels remaining of late registration and re-entry.

The event needs 2,000 entries to meet it’s $1,000,000 guarantee and they are on pace to smash that guarantee.

One of Florida’s most successful poker pros, TK Miles, is among the early entrants, as well as local regulars Michael Newman, Dimitry Agrachov and Robert Transue. East Coast grinders Paul Balzano and Anna Antimony are also in the field.
