2017 LHPO Live Updates

Event 16: Ira Schwartz Triples Up

$360 No Limit Hold’em Big Stack
Level 10: 400/800 with a 100 ante
Players Remaining: 38 of 87

The player under the gun raises to 2,400 and the player in early position calls, Dylan Drazen calls from the hijack, and the player on the button calls as well.

Daren Stabinski is in the small blind and three-bets to 9,000. The original raiser folds, the player in early position calls, Drazen folds, and Schwartz moves all in for 11,000.

Stabinski and the player in early position both call. Any further action would create a side pot between Stabinski and his opponent in early position.

The flop is Qc9s8c and Stabinski checks. His opponent bets 15,000 and Stabinski shakes his head in disgust before folding AxKx face-up.

Schwartz shows 9h7d, good for middle pair and needs to improve against his opponent’s QhJh. The turn is the 3c and the river is the 7c to give Schwartz two pair, the best hand, and the pot to more than triple up.

Ira Schwartz – 39,500

Event 16: “Paulie All In” Triple Up Through Evan Teitelbaum and Alik Sitnyakovsky

$360 No Limit Hold’em Big Stack
Level 9: 300/600 with a 100 ante
Players Remaining: 42 of 87

“Paulie All In”

There is a three-way preflop all in between Evan Teitelbaum in the small blind, Alik Sitnyakovsky in middle position, and a player who goes by “Paulie All In” from the hijack.

Sitnyakovsky is all in for 10,800, “All In” commits his last 10,000 to the middle, and Teitelbaum has both players covered.

Teitelbaum shows AsQc and is up against Sitnyakovsky’s 6c6s and “All In’s” 8c8d.

The board runs out 9s7c3s4s7h and “All In” triples up. Sitnyakovsky wins a tiny side pot and has just a couple big blinds remaining.

“Paulie All In” – 31,700
Evan Teitelbaum – 18,000
Alik Sitnyakovsky – 1,600
