Cards are back in the air following the first break with the clock showing 436 total entries. There’s a number of big stacks to this point, but Ryan Hulton and Evan Young own two of the largest. The pair accounts for two of just a handful of players over the 80,000-chip mark. Hulton has a slight edge owning 83,500 to Young’s 82,000.

Timothy “T.K.” Miles is a staple at any Seminole Hard Rock Poker event and the 2016 SHRPO is no exception. He’s enjoyed tremendous success in the Championships this year accumulating enough points to put himself second in the Player of the Year race. If he’s able to overcome current leader David Prociak, Miles, a Floridian, will head home with a prize package worth $44,000. He’s warming up for the $5,250 Championship here in Event 1.

A handful of champions from various Seminole properties have taken their seats here early during Flight F. Each has claimed a victory in an in-room event at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek or Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
Steven McKoy claimed victory in a $350 Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Deep Stack event for $49,755.
In addition to two SHRP titles, Daren Stabinski scored $21,105 for outlasting 1,018 entries in the $150 June Big Stack Special also in Hollywood.
Hector Pacheco earned an outright victory and $63,000 in the $350 Coco Spring Series at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
Karl Manouchakian carded a win in a $350 event at the WPTDeepStacks-Tampa series at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa. He earned $24,140 and eventually went on to earn Series Champion honors.
All of the above are back on the Florida felt in hopes of putting on another championship performance.

Play has to come an end in Flight E with 126 players remaining of the starting 605 entrants.
Michael Eddy was the end-of-flight leader and will return tomorrow for Day 2 with 322,500. Also moving on are Loni Harwood, Stewart Newman, Abbey Daniels, David Jackson, Alfonso Perez, and Jon Borenstein.

With Level 2 freshly underway in tonight’s 6pm Flight F, the field has already crossed 200 entries. That number is expected to continue to tick up all the way until registration closes at 10:30pm local time.

Flight C players have moved into their last level of the night. Right around 150 players remain and we should see about 40 of them disappear in the next half hour.

The clock strikes 6pm and it’s time to shuffle up and deal in Flight F of the $360 buy-in SHRPO opener. The $500,000 guarantee is already long gone as the prize pool is comfortably over $600,000 through the first five start days. This evening’s flight is expected to again blow the doors off the ballroom and help grow the kiddie up over $750,000.

Cheri Beatty’s stack was up and down throughout the day as she bounced to three different tables after they broke. She hit her high point before getting mixed up with Yves Fequiere.
Beatty opened the action and he called in the small blind to see the flop. Fequiere check/called a flop bet then check/called against after the turn. He led out after the river and Beatty must have sensed something was up.
She called with aces but they were no good when she saw Fequiere chased with . The hand dropped her under 30,000 and she was gone soon after when her sevens couldn’t outrace .

The accounting is complete and Flight C officially drew 605 entrants to take the total up to 2,036 for Event 1 with one last flight at 6pm. The current prize pool is $610,800 but that will climb significantly before registration closes at 10:30pm.
