While the WPT Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open Championship is playing its final table in front of a worldwide live streaming audience, the final trophy event of the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open will be playing down to a winner in the new Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Poker Room.

Our live updates here at SHRPO.com will focus on the Championship until it reaches a winner, and then our coverage will switch over to provide updates on this final trophy event, which should be near a final table at that point.

After six starting flights, there are 138 players remaining, and they return for Day 2 at 2:00 pm in the Poker Room. The final 72 will finish in the money, guaranteed at least $434 each, while a first prize of $37,828 waits for the winner. (Not bad for a $150 buy-in!)

Championship: Meet Your Final Table

The 2019 WPT Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” Championship Final Table is set with six players remaining, all vying for the top prize of $545,070 along with a seat in the WPT Tournament of Champions.

They will gather together on Wednesday afternoon to play it out for the title on the World Poker Tour live-stream stage and a chance to put their name on the WPT Champions Cup.

Here are the six remaining players:

Cesar Fuentes

Seat 1:  Cesar Fuentes
Chip Count  –  7,550,000

Cesar Fuentes is 35-year-old professional poker player originally from Venezuela, and he is a regular here at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, with 44 cashes and three tournament victories at this casino alone. This final table is already guaranteed to be his biggest, as even sixth-place money would be more than four times larger than the biggest cash of his career to this point.

Milen Stefanov

Seat 2:  Milen Stefanov
Chip Count  –  8,925,000

Milen Stefanov is 25 years old and from Varna, Bulgaria. Stefanov has more than $129K in career tournaments earnings, and most of his cashes have come overseas, as this is just his third cash in the USA (and all three have come within the past two months here at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood). This is already guaranteed to be the biggest cash of Stefanov’s career, and if he finishes fifth or better, he’ll double his career earnings.

David Novosel

Seat 3:  David Novosel
Chip Count  –  7,525,000

David Novosel is a 37-year-old former accountant-turned-entrepreneur from Cincinnati, Ohio, though he has played poker for most of his life (he has two tournament wins from more than a decade ago) and he has more than $254K in career tournament earnings, including four WSOP cashes.

This is Novosel’s first cash on the World Poker Tour, and his first cash at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, and it’s already guaranteed to be the biggest cash of his career.

Francis Anderson

Seat 4:  Francis Anderson
Chip Count  –  2,175,000

Francis Anderson is a 32-year-old professional poker player from New York with more than $518K in career tournament earnings. While this is his first cash on the World Poker Tour, Anderson has 23 WSOP cashes on his resume, along with 15 cashes here at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.

Coincidentally, the biggest score of Anderson’s tournament career was this past summer in the WSOP Marathon event, where he finished fourth to earn $149,605. The winner of that event? The player seated to Anderson’s left at this final table — Roman Korenev.

Roman Korenev

Seat 5:  Roman Korenev
Chip Count  –  8,175,000

Roman Korenev is a 31-year-old professional poker player from Russia, and he is arguably the most accomplished tournament player at this final table with $2.2 million in career earnings, 27 WSOP cashes, and a WSOP bracelet in the 2019 Marathon event where he won $477,401.

However, this is just the third WPT cash of Korenev’s career, following a 40th-place finish in this event last year and an 18th-place finish in the 2017 WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio in Las Vegas. But he has a chance tomorrow to join the elite list of players who have won both a WSOP bracelet and a WPT title.

Fabian Gumz

Seat 6:  Fabian Gumz
Chip Count  –  5,150,000

Fabian Gumz is a 25-year-old professional poker player originally from Hamburg, Germany, and he is one of the most accomplished players at this final table, with 16 WSOP cashes for more than $240K in WSOP earnings, including an eighth-place finish in the 2019 WSOP Millionaire Maker for $157,565.

About two months ago, Gumz had another big score, final tabling the WPT’s Devilfish Cup (a special $5,300 buy-in event honoring the late David “Devilfish” Ulliott), where he finished third to earn $115,150. While Gumz has some impressive accomplishments on his poker resume, if he finishes fourth or higher here it will be the biggest cash of his career.
