Event 1: No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Day 1A

Play is underway in the first tournament of the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open”. Event 1 is a $125 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack tournament with a $150,000 Guarantee prizepool and eight starting days.

Eliminated players can re-enter the tournament through the first four levels of each starting day. Those players that have chip stacks in more than one starting flight will have their largest stack advanced to Day 2.

Players begin the tournament with chip stacks of 10,000  and 25/50 blinds. The levels will last 30 minutes during Day 1 with breaks every four levels. 58 players were registered at the start of play on Day 1A with players lined up to buy-in.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open Challenges Players November 13 – December 2

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (October 2, 2013) – Time to tune-up the poker strategies for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open returning November 13 – December 2, 2013. During this World Poker Tour® (WPT®) Regional event, players can win their share of over $1,250,000 in guaranteed prize pools in a challenging 20-event series that will take place in The Poker Room at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

The series opens with a $125 buy-in No-limit Hold ‘em Deep Stack event featuring a $150,000 guarantee. The No-limit Hold ‘em Championship Event will be held November 29 – December 2 with a $1,650 buy-in for a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The Rock ’n’ Roll Poker Open will have the added bonus of a leader board with added prizes for the top 20 point earners during the series. First place will receive a $5,300 entry into the $10,000,000 Guaranteed Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Main Event in April 2014, a two-night stay at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and a $200 gift certificate to Council Oak Steaks & Seafood; second place will receive a $5,300 entry into the Showdown Main Event; third through 20th place will receive a $575 entry for a Showdown Main Event Mega to be used during the month of December.

On-site registration is already open for all of the events. (Registration fee is non-refundable.) To participate, players must be 18 and obtain a free “Wild Card” at the Player’s Club or in The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise.
