James Romero raised to 3,100 from under the gun and Keven Stammen called in middle position. Noah Schwartz called from the hijack Marvin Rettenmaier moved all in on the button for 16,000.

The blinds folded and Romero four-bet to 45,000. Stammen used a time chip to get an extra 30 seconds before moving all in for 101,000. Schwartz gets an exact count and picked up a time chip, debating whether or not he wants an extra 30 seconds.

“Look at what you started, Marvin,” joked Schwartz.

Schwartz folded and Romero called. There was a big side pot between Romero and Stammen, while Rettenmaier was only eligible for what was in the main pot.

Romero showed 9h9s, Stammen tabled AdKh and Rettenmaier needed help with his KcQd.

The board ran out Qc8h7hQh8d and Rettenmaier more than tripled up by winning the main pot with a full house. Stammen was eliminated and Romero won the side pot.

The turn was the Jd and Katchalov checked again. Patterson bet 9,000 and Katchalov moved all in for about 35,000. Patterson called.

Patterson tabled 4s4c, good for middle set, but needed to improve against Katchalov’s Ac3c.

The river was the 5h and Patterson got the board pairing river he needed to eliminate Katchalov.

On a flop of AcKs2s, James Mackey checked from the big blind and Niall Farrell checked from under the gun. Ema Zajmovic bet 3,800 from the hijack and Michael Mizrachi called on the button.

Mackey and Farrell folded and they were heads-up to the 2d turn card.

Zajmovic’s time clock ran all the way down to zero and they called the floor over to make a ruling on whether it is ruled a check or she would be forced into using a time chip.

It’s ruled that she would be forced to use a time chip. If she were out of time chips, it would be ruled a check. After the clarification, she puts out a time chip and the  checked.

Mizrachi bet 3,800 and she called. The river was the Jd and both players checked. Zajmovic showed AdJh and Mizrachi mucked his hand.
