Event 1 Day 1B of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is now underway in the ballroom with 136 players already registered. They will match their Day 1A competitors and play 15 levels.

SHRP POY leader Angel Vu was unable to make it deep in the first flight and has another entry in the 7pm edition.

They begin with 20,000 stacks and 30-minute levels.

Players are back from their final break of the day and they have three more levels remaining before bagging up.

Alexander Carbajal found his way into the top five chip counts while the rest of the field was off on break. He was involved in a hand with Julio Sanchez and moved all-in with the board showing Kd9d7sJd3h.

The 15-minute break was more than half complete before Sanchez talked his way into a fold showing Qx9x. Sanchez said he thought the hand was best was correct when Carbajal showed him Qs6d to move up to 166,200.

There was 10,000 in the pot and the flop read 9c8c4d when a player in late position bet 7,400 and Lou Stadler raised all in for 34,300 from the cutoff. The small blind tanked but decided to fold. Late position called and the two players flipped over their cards.
