Ryan Riess limped his small blind and called after Terry Schumacher raised 150,000 from the big blind. Riess checked the QsTh7d and Schumacher bet 210,000. A second check from Riess after the 9h turn and Schumacher put out 450,000.

Riess called and checked a third time after the Kc river and Schumacher bet 600,000. Then everyone waited for Riess to make a decision. Eight minutes later, Riess called with two pair KhQc to best the 8s5d of Schumacher.

After the hand, Matt Savage reminded the room that the Tournament of Champions will feature a 30-second action clock tomorrow.
