$360 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $1,000,000 Guaranteed | Payouts Level 23: 15,000/25,000 with a 25,000 ante Players Remaining: 110 of 4,558
The clock is ticking down and the remaining 110 players are preparing to take their 40-minute dinner break. They’ve shown no slowdown and Day 2 lost 560 players in six hours of play.
We will scope out the big stacks on break and prepare to play out the day when they return.
We didn’t see the preflop action but we heard the noise from Table 13 when there was a four-way all in.
Eric Penner (195,000), Antonio Monduy (200,000) and Brandon Caputo (600,000) were all at risk and in a ton of trouble.
Caputo: Monduy: Penner: Ryan:
Ryan had the rockets and his three opponents were holding a lot of each other’s outs. The board ran all low to put three players out at once and ship a huge pot to Ryan.
Martin Ryan – 2,200,000 (110 bb) Brandon Caputo – Eliminated in 145th place ($1,367) Antonio Monduy – Eliminated in 146th place ($1,367) Eric Penner – Eliminated in 147th place ($1,367)

The pace of eliminations is still going at a frenitic pace and the quickly dropped under 200 players remaining after the second break. We grabbed the next round of eliminations and you can see the entire list by clicking the link below.
Among the recently departed were Jonathan Hilton, Jon Brody, Qasem Jamhour, Neil Blumenfield, Joelle Guarino, Steven Bennett, and former SHRPO Big 4 champ Ruslan Dykshteyn.

By the luck of the draw, or unlucky draw might be correct for those at Table 31, chip leader Justin Slavin was moved across the room and he took a seat next to fellow big stack Peter Pacifico shortly before the second break.
Slavin cruised his stack even higher and will return to a castle worth 1,645,000 while Pacifico is no slouch with 960,000.
At nearby Table 32, Chuck Polania isn’t doing too shabby himself and has 1,300,000 coming back to Level 21.

Matthew Yorra was sliding into the danger zone and was down to 156,000 when he put them in the middle. His opponent took his time to think it through, so long that the clock was called. Before the time ran out, he called to put the two-time SHRP at risk.
Yorra: Opponent:
Yorra was racing to stay in, missed the flop, but picked up some more outs. The turn did the job and he made trip tens on the river to double up.
$360 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $1,000,000 Guaranteed | Payouts Level 19: 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante Players Remaining: 290 of 4,558
Another level down and another 100 players were sent to the payout desk. Stacks are getting bigger and it appears none can beat start of Day 2 leader Justin Slavin. He’s a few chips over 1,000,000 but several players are close.
Pavlos Kasselouris, Peter Pacifico, and David Laufer are well over 900,000 and they might fluctuate into seven digits with one hand.
$360 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $1,000,000 Guaranteed | Payouts Level 18: 4,000/8,000 with a 8,000 ante Players Remaining: 388 of 4,558
Once the money bubble quickly burst, we had an immediate rush to the payout desk when play resumed. Short stacks who slid into the money were trying to double up into contention and bigger stacks were taking advantage.
Level 17 came to an end, they took a quick color up break to take the 500 denoms off the table, and they resume the carnage after the break. The field quickly dropped more than 60 players and tables are breaking fast.

Tournament staff asked all dealers to stand when their hand was complete, they counted down the remaining players, and Event 1 was officially on the money bubble with 451 remaining and 450 getting paid.
They dealt one hand and we had four all-ins called at separate tables. We had two doubles but two knockouts.
Kyle Carino opened for a min-raise and picked up three callers to a flop. He bet, Roberto Alberro raised, and the other two players released. Carino put in a fourth bet and all the chips went in the middle, Alberro at risk for 220,000.
Carino: Alberro:
Carino flopped middle set and needed to dodge the flush draw of Alberro. Or make a full house on the river to leave Alberro drawing dead to the flush-giving river. He was eliminated on the bubble but we still had one more hand to go.
Kyle Carino – 510,000 (85 bb)
James Gavin jammed for 89,000 from middle position and it folded to George Navarro on the button. Navarro had Gavin well covered and he called. The blinds folded and Gavin waited patiently while the remaining tables finished up their hands.
After a couple minutes, tournament supervisor Jordan Cutter approached the table and Gavin and Navarro exposed their hands.
Gavin: Navarro:
Gavin had the best of it, but it was his stack that was at risk.
Runout:
After fading the flop, Gavin met his fate with the turn. Navarro hit the three-outer coming from behind to take the lead in the hand and leave Gavin busted for half of a min-cash.
George Navarro – 520,500 (86 bb)
Both players chopped up 450th place money and received $318.

Martin Ryan is riding a bit of a heater these last few weeks. He won his sixth WSOP Circuit ring at Coconut Creek along with the Casino Championship, went to another stop to win his seventh ring, and decided to stop back in South Florida on his way home to Trinidad and Tobago.
Ryan bagged big in Flight A and was sitting with more than 400,000 when his name was paged by tournament staff.
The Poker Room is running a promotion where quads and full houses give players an entry into a Sunday drawing. Every time the designated team kicks a field goal or scores a touchdown, a random name is drawn with a TD earning $1,000 and a FG worth $500.
Today’s team is the Atlanta Falcons, they kicked a field goal, and pulled Ryan’s name out of the virtual hat to book himself a $500 cash before Event 1 hit the money.
