Yuval Bronshtein

The H.O.R.S.E. players are on their second break of the day and that means time is running out to join the fun mix game. We have 84 entries at the moment and might pick up a couple more before they return.

One of the recent entries is a new South Florida transplant. Yuval Bronshtein made the move to warmer climates earlier this year and brings some talent and results with him. He had two close calls at the World Series of Poker with a third-place finish in the 2007 $2,000 Pot Limit Omaha tournament and he finished 23rd out of 6,598 in the 2012 WSOP Main Event.

Bronshtein broke through this year in Vegas when he booked his first WSOP bracelet after winning the Deuce-to-Seven Lowball title.

Marc Rabuse

The H.O.R.S.E. tournament is having a nice day with 73 entries mixing it up when it hit the first break of the day. That’s a great turnout so far and we’ll see if they can tease triple digits before registration closes at 4:30 pm.

Marc Rabuse is trying to turn a big run on Day 1 into another on Day 2. The New York resident picked up his first career SHR Hollywood cash yesterday in Event 2 when he collected $7,556 in a heads-up deal with Gloria LoRusso.

Rabuse was the first break H.O.R.S.E. leader with 24,000 and we’ll see if he can make another final table run.

Event 3: RRPO HORSE

$400 H.O.R.S.E. (Re-Entry)

Thursday presents another opportunity for our players to win a trophy in a non-NLH game. Event 2 will mix it up with a $400 buy-in HORSE tournament with a RRPO trophy awaiting the winner later this evening.

Every eight hands, dealers will switch up the games played between Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha 8, Razz, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud 8. The winner will have to display talent over five different variants and they will earn the win.

Players start with 12,000 stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm with a dinner break scheduled at 6 pm.

They will return from that 40-minute break and continue playing until we have our second RRPO champ.
