The entry count quickly jumped over 300 and a good deal bigger than this point yesterday. That sets today up as another record-setting number with some big milestones on the horizon.
We ran into a couple visitors from the Northeast, dodging some cold weather for a huge WPT field. Among them, Renata Colache, Michael Marder, Eric Seigel, and Mike Dentale.

The clock hit 11 am and tournament staff put cards in the air for Day 1B of the WPT RRPO Championship. There were 273 players in the mix at the start, 80 more than we saw for the big opening flight.
They will play two one-hour levels before taking the first break.

The final flight of the 2021 WPT Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open gets underway at 11 am in the Grand Ballroom and the $3,500 buy-in tournament already beat its $2,000,000 guarantee in the first flight. Today they’ll more than double that amount and set some records.
Flight A drew 645 entries into the field and 182 advanced to Day 2 tomorrow at noon.
Players start with 40,000 chip stacks and levels last 60 minutes each on Day 1 and Day 2. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at ~9:15 pm with unlimited re-entries available. Flight B will come to an end after Level 10 and survivors join the others who have a Day 2 seat.
It will be an exciting day in the Grand Ballroom and we look forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.
