Event 12: Stabinski Doubles

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 21: 6,000/12,000/2,000 Ante

While players are dropping off the final three tables, local regular Daren Stabinski has been grinding away all day. He found a needed double as the field shrinks.

He was all-in against high-stakes grinder Tim “Tim0theeAdam” Adams with the dominant KhKd against 6h6d and the board was a drama-free Tx4c2c8s5x. The hand moved him near 400,000 while Adams dropped under 20 big blinds.

Stanbinski has success at these levels with a 1st and 2nd in the $1,100 events here during the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N Roll Poker Open”.

Level 20: 5,000/10,000/1,000 Ante

It took less than one level to lose the next seven players after the McKoy/Dolan double elimination. Jacquelyn Scott missed the payout jump and set the tournament on pause once again to redraw the final three tables.

Event 12: Whyte Gets Two

Level 19: 4,000/8,000/1,000 Ante

After breaking down to four tables and documenting the bubble hand, Allen Kessler yelled towards the media desk “there’s a two-way all-in over here!”

It turned out to be three-way action by the time it was done between Lawrence Whyte, John Dolan, and Steven McKoy.

Whyte: KdJc
Dolan: QhTd
McKoy: 8x8x

Whyte had them both covered and hit the KcTh9d flop. The 7c turn left them with few outs and both missed the 4h river.

Whyte picked up the double knockout by sending home a former November Niner and a 2014 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N Roll Poker Open” final table member.

Gary Flur
Gary Flur

It took four more hands to get the field in the money. Gary Flur was short stacked at the break but doubled up an even short player on the 9th round of hand-for-hand.

The next hand saw John Depersio and Alfonso Perez call Flur’s shove to see the Ad9h3d flop. Perez check-folded after a bet from Depersio and they were heads up.

Flur needed a miracle with his Jc2h against Depersio’s flopped Aces Up As3s. The 4d gave a chance with a gutshot Wheel draw but he blanked the Qc river to go out in 37th spot.

Event 12: Hand-for-Hand

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 18: 3,000/6,000/1,000 Ante

It was a race between the clock and the knockouts. One was counting down to the first break while the other was getting the field to the money bubble.

Carlos Loving took care of it when he knocked out another player, this time with KsKd against QdQc.

The bubble won the race and we are now hand-for-hand. The player finishing in 37th will receive nothing while the next player out will earn a $2,497 min-cash.

Event 12: Aces for Everyone

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 17: 2,500/5,000/500 Ante

After two days of cracked premium hands, Aces are having a nice run today. Bryan Schultz found them once again but this time in a huge three-way pot.

He put both opponent’s all-in after a Ts5c4h flop and picked up one caller. This time Schultz’ AcAh was against 6h6s with no drama when the turn/river came Jh5s to give him another big hand.

Just moments later it was Jacquelyn Scott’s turn to call an all-in shove with AsAh. She had a little sweat after the board led Kc9d4d3d but the river blanked 4s to give Aces another win.

Event 12: Can’t Dodge Bullets

Level 17: 2,500/5,000/500 Ante

Blair Miller ran into a tough cooler at the start of his day. There was a raising battle with Bryan Schultz before Miller ran his AhKs straight into AsAd. Miller was out of his seat before the board completely blanked but he was called back to his table.

Miller still had a few chips to work but there would be no miracle comeback and he was gone an orbit later.
