Ari Engel lost a big flip to exit the WPT Finale

After doubling up Ben Zamani, Ari Engel was down to only six big blinds and put them in the middle against Giuseppe Pantale with 3d3c.

Jared Jaffee opened to 23,000 and Noah Bronstein three-bet shoved for 127,000. Eddy Sabat called all-in for less from the cutoff and Chino Rheem seriously considered coming along. Jaffee eventually let his hand go as well and Sabat turned up 7s7d.

“Do you have sixes?” Sabat asked hopefully (his word).

Bronstein had better than sixes and his 9s9d dominated. Sabat never picked up a sweat as the board ran out KsTsTh5d8h to send him out in 24th.

Sabat began the day with only four big blinds and was able to ladder up a payout spot before running out of time.

“Are you suited?” Borenstein asked from the other end of the table before Pantaleo flipped up AdJd.

The Qc5c3c flop brought no help to Borenstein but he added some game-saving chop outs on the 5s turn. No love for Borenstein on the Jh river and he was sent out in 26th place.
