After a short delay at the start of the day, cards are in the air for the WPT Finale. It took a few minutes to get the late reg players to their seats and it looks like the unofficial player count will lock down at 342. More than 20 added overnight and this morning to push the prize pool to $3,249,000.
It will be a busy day in the ballroom but we’ll be tracking it all the way down.

Players are returning to the ballroom for Day 2 of the WPT Finale and registration will close on the big tournament when cards go in the air. Day 1 ended with 321 players registered and we picked up a few more overnight to push the prize pool further over $3 million.
Seminole Hard Rock Poker Team Member Jared Jaffee is the leader when play resumes but there are plenty of big names in contention including Noah Schwartz, Christian Harder, and Eddy Sabat. Besides Jaffee, Jessica Dawley, Sheddy Siddiqui, and Faraz Jaka are also still around representing the SHRP Team.
They will play 60-minute levels until the dinner break at 6:30pm then switch over to 90-minute levels. Day 2 is scheduled to complete at the end of Level 18 and survivors will return tomorrow for Day 3.

Andy Frankenberger open shoved from early position and South Florida pro Jason Mercier moved all-in for less behind him. It folded around and Mercier was at risk versus Frankenberger.

The 316th entrant in the $10,000 WPT Finale took their seat just moments ago officially putting the prize pool over the $3,000,000 mark. Presently sitting at 317 players, the total kiddie is an unofficial $3,002,000 with late registration open until cards go in the air tomorrow at noon.
