Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

Anthony Zinno got it all in from the cutoff for 138,000 with As10s, and he needed his hand to hold to stay alive against the Jc9c of Jonathan Jaffe in the small blind.

The board came Ac10c6c2s2h — Zinno flopped two pair to Jaffe’s club flush, and Zinno improved no further. Jaffe won the pot with his flush to eliminate Zinno in 13th place.

High Roller - Final Two Tables
Final Two Tables

There were three entries during the dinner break to bump the total field to 41, which clears the $1 million guarantee. The prizepool should be released soon.

So there were 18 players in the field after dinner, but Fred Goldberg (18th place) and Ryan Riess (17th place) were eliminated fairly quickly, so there was a redraw for seats at the final two tables.

The board came Qc8s5s10cAs — Turyansky paired his ten on the flop, Hernandez turned a flush draw and a straight draw, and Turyansky rivered two pair to win the pot and double up in chips.

The blinds are up and the entry count jumped a couple spots as well. WSOP bracelet winner Fred Goldberg moved from the Championship to the High Roller and Ryan Riess had to reload to continue his High Roller run.

SHRP regular Arkadiy Tsinis is grinding his way through the High Roller as well. The WSOP bracelet champ (and four-time WSOP Circuit ring winner) is more than holding his own against a table of High Roller specialists.

Darren Elias

As the WPT LHPO Championship loses talent, the High Roller picks it up. The most recent to join was four-time WPT champ Darren Elias after dropping out of the Championship in 32nd place. Now he’s in the High Roller trying to run up a stack.

One who’s already done that is Maria Ho. Our 2019 WPT Poker Showdown final table member is up to 257,500 from her starting 100K stack.

Anthony Zinno

The blinds are up along with the entry. WPT Season XIII Player of the Year Anthony Zinno would much rather be playing deep into the WPT LHPO Championship but he fell short of the final table with a 38th place finish. He took some time to regroup then entered the High Roller with a chance for a double cash day.

On the other side, Joe McKeehen’s first shot at the High Roller fell short and the 2015 WSOP Main Event champ is trying again.
