Josh Kay raised from the button to 575,000 with AsKc, and Brian Altman called from the big blind with Ks8c.

Both players checked to the turn on a board of Jh9d8s10h, Altman checked, Kay bet 300,000, and Altman called.

The river card was the Qd, giving Altman a king-high straight, but Kay clinched the pot with an ace-high straight.

Altman checked, Kay bet 2,000,000, and Altman check-raised to 4,000,000. Kay moved all in, and Altman called all in for about 7,800,000 with his Ks8c for a king-high straight.

But of course Kay turned over his AsKc to win the pot with an ace-high straight, eliminating three-time WPT champion Brian Altman in fourth place.

Championship: Meet Your Final Table

The 2022 WPT Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open Championship drew 1,541 entries, the second biggest in our history, and the tournament is down to the last six players vying for the title.

They have a combined $18.3 million in career earnings, six WPT titles, a former WPT Player of the Year with Brian Altman, and another in contention this year in Chad Eveslage.

And Gediminas Uselis has a chance to make history; he is our defending champion and no one has ever won the same WPT event in back-to-back years.

Here’s a little look at the six members of our WPT RRPO Championship final table. Cards go in the air at 2 pm on Wednesday, and everyone is invited to come down to watch the live-stream action.

Seat 1: Chad Eveslage
Chips: 12,700,000

From Fort Lauderdale, he has more than $6.7 in career earnings with two cashes over $1 million, including the WPT Five Diamond title last month. Eveslage has two Hollywood titles, the last in the 2021 Poker Showdown $25K High roller.

Seat 2: Robel Andemichael
Chips: 1,400,000

From White Plains MD, he has more than $600,000 in career earnings and making his second career WPT final table. Andemichael finished runner-up to Ilyas Muradi right here in the 2019 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship and just missed the WPT Legends of Poker final table in August.

Seat 3: Josh Kay
Chips: 9,250,000

From Delray Beach, he has $2.15 million in career earnings, including a PCA Main Event win in 2015. Kay is making his fourth WPT final table, with the most recent coming during the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship in January.

Gediminas Uselis

Seat 4: Gediminas Uselis
Chips: 8,375,000

From Lithuania, he has $1.5 million in career earnings and is our defending champion. Uselis outlasted the biggest WPT RRPO Championship field in history to win the title and $778,000. He also has an MSPT Las Vegas victory and WSOP Online title.

Seat 5: Andrew Wilson
Chips: 33,425,000

From Bolton in the UK, he has more than $600,000 in live poker earnings but that falls well shy of the online pro’s true win numbers. Wilson has several close calls for big wins in live events, including two WSOP runner-up finishes and fourth in an Aria High Roller this summer.

Brian AltmanSeat 6: Brian Altman
Chips: 11,850,000

From Boston MA, he has $6.7 million in career earnings with most of that coming from his three WPT victories. Altman became the first player to win the same WPT event twice; he won the 2015 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship and again in 2020. He added his third WPT title last year in Tampa and owns seven career Hollywood major titles.

But he’ll have to dodge some tough competition, including three-time WPT champ Brian Altman and defending champ Gediminas Uselis.

Everyone has locked up $167,000 but one player will bank $785,800 tomorrow evening.

Eric Bonin

Andrew Wilson opened to 400,000 from under the gun and Eric Bonin moved all in for 1,350,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds folded and Wilson called with his big stack.

Wilson: Jh8s
Bonin: KsKc

Bonin was in great shape for a double up but our chip leader nailed the QsJsJd flop for trip jacks. The Ac turn and 2h river finished the board and Bonin was eliminated in seventh place.

Tournament staff paused the clock and players are bagging their chips for the live-stream WPT final table tomorrow at 2 pm.

Andrew Wilson – 33,425,000 (167 bb)
Eric Bonin – Eliminated in 7th Place ($129,000)
