With ten minutes remaining in Level 14, the clock was paused for the final time. Each table is playing the final few hands of the day, and the bags will come out shortly for the survivors.
A full list of chip counts will be posted once play is complete.
$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 7: 250/500 with a 75 ante Entries: 401
Registration is closed for this Day 1E flight, and it was the largest yet. An additional 401 entries were added to the field, bringing the running total to 1,416 entries across the first five starting flights.
Day 1F, the last starting flight for this event, begins in just a few minutes.
$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 11: 600/1,200 with a 20 ante Total Players Remaining: 46 of 237
Only 46 players remain in the fourth flight of Event 5 and we expect that number to be chopped in half over the next 90 minutes before they bag up.
Jacquelyn Scott, the 2015 WSOP Ladies Champion, is making her first appearance during this series and trying to get through her first flight on one bullet. She’s short at the moment but there’s one last flight nearby if she needs it.
$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 8: 3000/600 with a 75 ante Total Players Remaining: 81 of 237
Flight D is on its second full break of the day and only 81 players remain of the starting 237 entrants. Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Jessica Dawley is one of the late entries and trying to run up her stack.
Dawley’s biggest tournament score came her last December when she final tabled (and finished sixth) in the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” Championship.
The fifth of six Event 5 starting flights has just gotten underway inside the ballroom. The $150 buy-in, $150,000 Guarantee tournament has drawn just over 1,000 entries through the first four flights, and another robust turnout is expected this afternoon.
Players start with 10,000 chips, and they play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration is open until the start of Level 7, around 6:20 this evening, and unlimited re-entries are available during that time.
Play will conclude at the end of Level 14 with survivors bagging up their chips and returning tomorrow to play down to a champion.
$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 7: 250/500 with a 75 ante Total Players: 237
Registration is closed for the fourth flight of Event 5 with 237 entrants getting in the game. That puts the combined total over 1,000 and they will hit the guarantee in the next flight with 235 more entrants.
The next flight kicks off at 3pm and the last chance flight at 7pm.
$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 5: 150/300 with a 50 ante Total Players: 203
Players are back in their seat with an hour left to register or re-enter this flight. They topped 200 entrants during the break and it will continue to go up over the next 60 minutes.
Mark Shulla is the early leader, more than 5x-ing his 10,000 starting stack. Mike Beasley, Al Gomez, and Jacquelyn Scott are a few of our other regulars having a good start to their day.

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 4: 100/200 with a 25 ante Total Players: 194
Flight D players are on their first break of the day as they near 200 entrants. The tournament is well on pace to reach the $150,000 guarantee this afternoon and things will ramp up after that.
We’ll take this first opportunity to find the big stacks and notable names in the field.
$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Level 2: 50/100 Total Players: 150
The Flight D field is filling in nicely as we get closer to the afternoon. We hit 150 entrants at the midpoint of Level 2 and there’s a steady group of players at the registration desk.
There are a few familiar faces here in early action including Al Gomez looking to make his first SHRPO final table. That would be quite an accomplishment for one of our regular players. He has final table appearances in three of our major series but lacking one in the biggest.
Gomez has yet to hoist a SHRP trophy, he came closest with fourth place finishes in the 2012 Seminole Hard Poker Showdown and 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Heart Poker Open series.
