The cutoff shows As6c, the big blind shows QsQc, but Karstens has them all trumped with his KdKs.

The flop is Kc8s2s and leaves everybody drawing thin. The turn is the 7s and both of Karstens’ opponents pick up a flush draw. The river is the Jc and Karstens fades the spade to triple up.

The big blind wins a small side pot from the cutoff, since the cutoff had the second biggest stack of the three players. Bauer is now just shy of 30 big blinds as the level nears an end.

Karstens Bauer – 56,500

Loving shows AhQs and is dominated by his opponent’s AsKd. The board runs out Ac10d10hJh7h and Loving can’t improve to send his opponent home.

Loving loses the small pot, but is still healthy on chips and is looking to play two consecutive days of tournament poker without being eliminated. Loving won the $350 No Limit Hold’em Black Chip Bounty last night for $8,120 and is trying to ride the heater to a deep run in this event.

The fifth flight of the $150 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event was, until the sixth flight kicked off, the biggest of any starting flight. It only makes sense that the biggest stack of the tournament thus far would come from it.

Ty Akbasli couldn’t seem to lose a single pot of any significance in the late stages of Day 1E and bagged the chip lead of both his flight and of the overall tournament with 405,000.

After 14 levels of play, the 383 players that entered this flight were trimmed down to just 33 players, with the aforementioned Akbasli leading the way.

Joining Akbasli at the top of the 1E chip counts are Olvenso Savoie, Sebastian Toro and John Palace with 290,500, 206,500 and 204,000, respectively.

The 33 survivors bring the total number of Day 2 entrants thus far to 135. They will all come back on Wednesday at 1 p.m. to play down to a winner.

Nasserazad snap-calls and shows AhAd. Czinkota tries to muck his hand, but it must be exposed since it is an all in situation. The dealer exposes Czinkota’s 5d4s and Nasserazad doubles up.

The turn is the Ac and action checks to Akbasli, who bets 12,500. The big blind calls and Hen folds. The river is the 3s and the big blind bets 25,000. Akbasli bets enough to put the big blind all in and the big blind quickly calls, he is all in for about 40,000 total.
