$1,100 Seminole Lucky Hearts WPT DeepStacks Main Event
Level 34: 100,000/200,000/25,000 Ante
Players Remaining: 9
Average Stack: 4,675,000 (23 bb)
There were 1,684 entrants looking for a piece of the massive WPTDeepStacks prize pool with only nine of them still alive. After a long Day 2, they return today to the Paradise Live theater to play it down to a champion.
Ryan D’Angelo and Harrison Gimbel are the two most accomplished players at the final table. In fact, they both notched their biggest tournament cash in the same event. D’Angelo finished fifth in the 2010 PCA Main Event and Gimbel won it all.
Salomon Ponte leads at the restart while local favorite Paul Balzano has a lot of work to do with his short stack. Everyone has a shot at the big money and we’ll find out soon who that will be.
Players are going through the final process of production set up and cards will soon be in the air.
