Flight B topped 200 entries over the second level of the day and we continue to pace towards the $1 million guaranteed prize pool.

A recent entry was WSOP bracelet winner Kathy Liebert making her first appearance of the series. She has earned more than $6 million in her tournament career that includes dozens of victories, several WPT televised final table appearances, and a cool $1,000,000 payout for winning the Party Poker Million cruise event.

One flight is done for the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open WPTDeepStacks Main Event with two more to go. The middle flight kicks off at noon and the $1,100 buy-in tournament will move one step closer to hitting the $1 million guaranteed prize pool.

Day 1A drew 457 entries with only 77 of them still around at the end of the night. WSOP Circuit ring winner Alex Foxen bagged up the 1A chip lead with 488,000 followed by fellow WSOP-C winner Staffan Lind in second.

More players will show up to the ballroom today and try to join them for Day 2 on Sunday.

Each entrant will sit down to a 25,000 starting stack and the Main Event will play 40-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration is open until the start of Level 10 at 7:30 pm following the dinner break and players are limited to a single re-entry of they bust their stack during that time.

After registration is closed, they will play down through Level 15 and survivors will bag up their stack for Day 2.

Evan Teitelbaim raised to 8,000 from the button and Danny Boyaci called from the big blind.

The flop fell Jc9s2s and Boyaci checked to Teitelbaum who continued for 6,500. Boyaci called to see the Js turn and led out for 16,000. Teitelbaum raised to 53,000 and Boyaci mulled it over for a bit before he folded.

Teitelbaum showed Kh6s as he collected the pot.

“He didn’t see it,” said tablemate Robert Kuhn.

“Nah he did,” said another player at the table.

“No, I didn’t see it,” said Boyaci.

“King-Six,” said Kuhn.

“What suit?” asked Boyaci.

“No suit,” replied Kuhn.

“I had a heart,” said Teitelbaum, pointing to his chest.
