The last flight of Event 7 is underway as the number continue to climb in the multi-day tournament. The first four flights drew 709 entrants with today’s early flight drawing the most so far.

The No Limit Hold’em tournament has a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool which should be surpassed early into the final flight. This is the last chance for players to get in the game with late registration an re-entry available until the start of Level 9, approximately 10:30pm.

Flight D is on its final break of the day with 54 players remaining of the starting 207. We expected to drop that number just a little bit more over the last two levels of the day.

The field is off on their second break of the day with registration set to close on 1D. The board currently shows 204 in the flight with the 15-minute to break and players may surrender their stack to buy back in.

The third flight of Event 7 has reached its final level for players to get in the game. The entrant count hit 200 midway through the level to become the biggest start of the tournament.

That almost guarantees Event 7 will easily surpass a $250,000 prize pool by the time registration completely closes the books this evening.

Players are off on their first break of the day as the entrant numbers jumps over 150 for the flight. Some of the newcomers include Stuart Paterson, Elliott Zaydman, Michael Ortiz, Eric Piderit, and Mister Nigel Murray.

Players in today’s final two flights are trying to join the 83 others who have advanced to Day 2 and they’re all chasing Jorge Rivera. He bagged 385,500 last night to lead the field so far.

The early flight is slowly building but there’s a fun table at the front of the room. Likely the most fun we’ll see today.

Julian Gallo is a regular fixture in the ballroom this series but now he’s joined by snowbird Jeff Kessler on his left and 2011 WSOP Ladies Event Champion Marsha Wolak on his right.

The field quickly climbed over 100 players and plenty of time for players to get to the ballroom.

Today is the final chance for player to enter the $250,000 guaranteed Event 7, getting in the game for just the $350 buy-in. The first three flights of the event drew 502 players with only 83 of them ending the day with chips to bag.

Players sit with 20,000 stacks and 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration and re-entry is available until the start of Level 9, approximately 3:30pm, with play ending for the flight at the end of Level 14.

Players who make it that far will return tomorrow at 1pm and play until there’s a winner. Players are taking their seats and cards will be in the air shortly.

After some crazy hands and massive collisions, Jorge Rivera managed to finish off tonight’s Day 7C as the chip leader bagging up an outstanding total of 358,500 chips.   But not far behind was Hollander Preap who survived playing with two of the biggest stacks in the field to find himself finishing just 15,000 chips behind at 348,000.

Overall, 27 players advanced out of the 192 entries in this $250,000 guaranteed event.  Those players that advanced will be back on Wednesday at 1 PM for their Day 2 and a shot at the Event 7 championship.
