Day 2 of the $5,250 SHRPO Championship began with 270 players remaining from the starting the field of 809 entries. After another 10 one-hour levels played today, only 40 players remain. On top of the chip counts to close the night is Sean Winter with 2,770,000.

Winter had built up a solid stack and during the later stages of the Day 2 when chip leader Joseph Cheong was moved to his direct right in the final level. They clashed a bit and Winter came out ahead, en route to his bagging the lead. Cheong is third with 1,745,000.

Others to bag tonight include Shalom Elharrar (who is second in chips) with 2,285,000, Joe Cada with 1,130,000, Phil Hui with 865,000, Tony Sinishtaj with 550,000, Chris Moneymaker with 455,000 and Ryan Riess with 305,000.
