Idris Ambraisse

As recapped by the table, Ronald Campillo raised the cutoff to 50,000 and Idris Ambraisse three-bet the button to 150,000. It was on the small blind and he four-bet shoved for 245,000. Both Campillo and Ambraisse — who sat with over 1,400,000 apiece — called. They were heads up to the flop and compete for a sidepot. Campillo checked blind.

Flop: Tx5x3x — With Campillo’s dark check, action was on Ambraisse who checked as well.

Turn: Tx5x3x2x — Campillo bet and Ambraisse boldly moved all-in for 1,452,000. Campillo called and the biggest pot of the tournament was in limbo.

Ambraisse: 2x2x for a set
Campillo: JxJx for an overpair
Small blind: AxQc

River: 3x

Ronald Campillo (Seat 4) stands as tournament staff sorts out the 4,000,000-chip pot

Ambraisse improved to a fullhouse and took a multi-million chip pot from Campillo while eliminating the small blind in the process.

Campillo was left short and busted soon after when his AxQc was second best to Ambraisse’s QxQx all-in preflop. Ambraisse enjoyed a huge chip lead.

Idris Ambraisse – 4,025,000 (201 bb)
Ronald Campillo – Eliminated in 36th place ($1,581)
