RECAP:

Even though this was the second event of the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open, it created the first champion of the series. Robert Campbell (North Miami, FL) outlasted a tough 55 player field to capture the title and $4,372 in the process.

The slow structure, limit betting, and deep stacks meant everyone had to battle to stay ahead. They played 12 hours on Day 1 but were unable to reach the final table. Day 2 saw 16 players return and it took another two and a half hours to get to reach the final 10.

Mark Gallo began the day in the middle of the counts but was unable to hang on to make the money. His exit in 10th put the rest of the field in the money and it was a stacked final table. Among those nine players, there were 16 Omaha/8 titles among them with Campbell leading the way with 10 himself.

Claudangelo Beaudouin, Robert Leff, Don Todd, and Cameron Reid also have victories in this format but the limits eventually catch up to the best. Beaudouin was unable to maintain his final table momentum and dropped out in 6th place. After his elimination, the last five players quickly completed a deal to divide the remaining prize pool money between. Campbell was the leader at that point and earned his 11th Omaha/8 title, his 3rd at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
