Hollywood, Fla. (January 15, 2016) – Event 6 of the 2016 Lucky Hearts Poker Open, a $570 No Limit Hold’em Turbo (Freeze-Out), drew 33 entries and generated a prize pool of $16,500 . After about 5 hours of play, a deal was reached between the final two players. The chip leader at the time was 26-year-old Jack Duong, giving him the official victory.

A professional poker player, Duong won his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet this past summer. After playing in Day 1B of the WPTDeepstacks Main Event and busting earlier today, Duong wasn’t in the best of moods, but when he saw that Event 6 was a turbo, he was eager to play.

“I have a bracelet, but no trophies,” Duong told us afterward. “When I realized that it would be a smaller and quick event since the WPTDeepStacks was also running, I figured it could be my best shot for a trophy.”
