Chris Hunichen

Chris Hunichen raised from under the gun and Shaun Deeb defended his big blind.

The flop was KdTc9c and Deeb checked. Hunichen bet 10,500 and Deeb called. The turn was the Qc and Deeb checked again. Hunichen bet 20,000 and Deeb called.

The river was the Kc and both players checked.

Deeb showed KhJd, giving him a straight, but Hunichen turned over 4c4d and pushed the club forward, pointing to the card that made him his flush.

Hunichen won the pot at Deeb’s expense, but Deeb is still the overall chip leader with level 9 about to start and the close of registration on the horizon.

“It’s sick what happens to me at this poker table,” said Deeb, sarcastically.

“Yeah. You run so bad,” joked Hunichen.
