Event 24 of the 2026 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $400 Seniors 50+ No-Limit Hold’em, drawing 134 entries for a prize pool of $44,220.

A heads-up deal was made at the final table and Eric Siegel was the chip leader at the time, making him the official Event 24 winner for $10,360.

The victory marked Siegel’s second SHRP major series trophy victory, having previously won a $400 NLHE event during the 2025 SHRPO.

Eric Siegel began heads-up play with the chip lead on Ruth Ruffman, but after Ruffman rivered a double with against Siegel’s on an runout, the chip counts were tighter and they agreed to a deal shortly after.

“We go back 20 years playing poker in Atlantic City,” said Siegel.

Siegel had the chip lead, making him the official Event 24 winner for $10,360. Ruffman collected $10,000 for the runner-up finish.

The second of three Seniors Events on the Showdown schedule gets underway at 11 am in the Grand Ballroom. This one has a $400 buy-in and guaranteed good time.

They’ll start with 20K deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm.

In addition to the cash payouts, we are also adding a special bonus prize to those who make the final table.

The Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event, benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida, runs on April 24 and all members of the final table will receive a $300 seat!
