Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood Property Update

Preparations are underway for the development of an iconic hotel tower and resort:

• Parking – Poker players are encouraged to park in Winner’s Way Garage to access both the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown tournament space and The Poker Room

• The Poker Room – Players may access the poker room by entering through the main lobby or via the exterior entrance on the opposite end of Winner’s Way Garage.

• Inside hotel – Services and amenities inside the hotel will remain open along with regularly scheduled events and entertainment.

We’re one day away from one of the most anticipated, fun events on the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown schedule. We’re proud to host Miami Dolphin legend Jason Taylor’s charity poker on March 29 after a success inaugural run last year.

The recent Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee began his foundation in 2004 to support and create programs that facilitate the personal growth and empowerment of South Florida’s children in need by focusing on improved health care, education and quality of life.

Taylor wasn’t just a force on the football field, he also flashed some poker skill when he finished in third place during his event last year.

“Not only did our foundation benefit but there was some great poker played as well…and I’m not just saying that because I finished in third place,” said Taylor.

An exclusive player party will be held in the ballrooms from 5-7 p.m. and the No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) tournament will immediately follow. A portion of each $300 buy-in will be donated to the foundation.

In addition to a cash prize pool, participants have the opportunity to win over $10,000 in prizes, which includes a $3,500 entry into the $2 Million Guaranteed, WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship and a 4-day, 3-night Hard Rock Resort Package in Cancun, Mexico plus $1,000 for travel. Specialty items will also be available via a silent auction. Included in the auction is a Jason Taylor Golf outing at executive golf clubs.
